Welcome to Daily (the “App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your information is handled in a secure and transparent manner. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our App.

Data Collection and Use

Personal Data

We do not collect or store personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or contact details. All to-do items, preferences, and other personal data are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to us or any third party.

Identifiers and Analytics Data

We collect limited technical identifiers to understand app performance and usage patterns. This includes Device ID, User ID (generated by third-party SDKs), and Product Interaction events. These identifiers may be linked to usage data for analytics but are not associated with personal information such as your name or email address.

  • Device ID – used by Mixpanel, RevenueCat, and Sentry for analytics, subscription validation, and diagnostics.
  • User ID – used by Mixpanel and RevenueCat to link usage and purchase data for analytics and subscription management.
  • Product Interaction – used by Mixpanel to analyze app usage trends and feature engagement.
  • Crash and Performance Data – used by Sentry for crash diagnostics and performance monitoring.

Mixpanel may use unique identifiers for analytics and tracking user behavior across sessions within the app. These identifiers do not include personal information but allow aggregated usage analysis. You can learn more in Mixpanel’s privacy policy below.

Crash and Diagnostic Data

We use Sentry to collect anonymous diagnostic and crash data to improve the App’s stability and performance.

  • Information Collected: Anonymous device details, OS version, app version, and crash logs.
  • Purpose: Diagnose and fix issues, improve reliability.

Subscription and Purchase Data

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and verify purchases made through Apple’s App Store. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts and may handle Device IDs and User IDs to verify subscriptions and entitlement status. We do not process or store payment information directly.

All transactions, renewals, and cancellations are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies. Please refer to Apple’s documentation for details on managing subscriptions and refunds.

Analytics

We use Mixpanel to collect anonymized usage data and track how users interact with the App. Mixpanel uses device and user identifiers for analytics and session tracking. No personally identifiable information is collected.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data for advertising or marketing purposes. Data is shared only with the third-party services listed above, and solely for analytics, diagnostics, or subscription verification.

Data Security

All transmitted data is encrypted using industry-standard protocols (TLS). Data stored locally on your device is under your control. We recommend enabling device security features such as passcodes or biometrics to prevent unauthorized access.

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR), you have rights concerning your personal data that may be processed through third-party services:

Children’s Privacy

Our App is rated 4+ and suitable for all age groups. We do not knowingly collect or store personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our data practices or legal requirements. Updated versions will be published in the App and on our website, and the “Last Updated” date will indicate the latest revision.
